connect+match was founded in 2007 by Gerlinde Fenske.
Gerlinde grew up bilingual (German/Dutch) on the Dutch North Sea coast. She studied socio-economics in northern Germany. After 14 years as a senior employee in various companies and organisations, of which eight years as Head of the Economics Department with the former Dutch Consulate General in Hamburg, the time was ripe for a move into self-employment. This happened in 2007, with the founding of connect+match Gerlinde Fenske e.K. (Hamburg).
